FSA is now approved to issue credit counseling certificates and certificates evidencing completion of a personal financial management instructional course in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of an agency’s services.

Save the Date! FSA is partnering with IUK for a month long focus on domestic violence and sexual assault in April of 2006 with FSA’s annual Angel Walk Against Domestic Violence scheduled for April 25th at 5:30 PM. The Angel Walk will be part of a series of Take Back the Night events at IUK. Stay tuned for more exciting developments! FSA is very pleased to be part of this new campus and community effort to bring a higher level of awareness to this important problem.

Our Mission
The purpose of Family Service Association of Howard County, Inc., is to improve the quality of family life in Howard County.
Goal
To assist individuals, couples, families, the community, and the organizations serving them by providing:
Direct Services
To reach people who are hurting due to dysfunctional lifestyles and guide their healing process.
To reach people who are struggling with a life crisis and help them improve their coping skills.
Education
To draw attention to the needs of families to encourage community and public support in meeting those  needs.
Prevention
To help prevent family life problems.
Consultation
To provide social work expertise to other community
agencies.
